A special General Session of the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies
Materials from the Association's 2007 Annual Meeting General Session, "The Changing Climate of Wildlife Management," is available online. The session highlighted approaches and strategies that fish and wildlife agencies should consider in order to address potential impacts and challenges associated with climate change on a variety of natural resource issues. The session provided attendees with a better understanding of the potential impacts associated with climate change and what the future may hold for natural resource managers. Overall, the session was well received and has initiated further discussions about the resources and tools managers will need to begin to plan for climate change related impacts.
A summary of the General Session, all PowerPoint presentations, list of presenters and contact list for USGS scientists working on climate change are available online at http://www.fishwildlife.org/agency_science_climate.html
