Nationally,
1,334 candidates took the May 2001 exam of which 1,001 (75%) passed.
Last year 1,331 candidates took the May 2000 exam and 1,011 (76%)
passed. Florida, California,
and Texas had the most candidates taking the test with 162, 139, and 82
candidates respectively. The
percentage of these candidates passing the exam was 66 percent in Florida,
71 percent in California, and 72 percent in Texas. Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Nebraska, and New Mexico had 100
percent of their candidates pass the exam.
For
those of you interested in taking the AICP exam next year, please note
that December 10, 2001 is the
application deadline for the 2002 exam. The test will be administered May 11, 2002.
